Uncharted 5 coming out as 5th installment of the single-player and multiplayer action-adventure third-person shooter video game series. Uncharted is a Playstation exclusive game series developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The games follow a retired treasure hunter named Nathan Drake (played by Nolan North), who travels across the world to uncover various historical mysteries.

Uncharted is Sony Plastation's best-selling video game franchise. The popular game series started on November 19, 2007, with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune generating 4 million sales. After two years, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves came out on October 13, 2009, and became one of PS3 greatest hits with 7 million sales. Launched on November 1, 2011, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception for PS3 again generated 6 million sales accompanied by 0.5 million sales of Uncharted: Golden Abyss for PS Vita.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End released for PS4 on May 10, 2016, making 15 million sales all times high record. Uncharted 4 also had a standalone expansion as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in 2017, not featuring Nathan Drake as the main protagonist. Uncharted 4 story revolves around Nathan Drake, the treasure hunter, who was forced back to the planet of thieves. Drake embarks himself on a rambling journey in pursuit of historical collusion behind a renowned pirate treasure and serves his physical limits to save lots of the lifetime of ones he loves. Uncharted 5 Release Date for PS5, PS4 & PC

Will there be an Uncharted 5? Well, Uncharted 4 ending was apparently final. But Nathan Drake's voice actor Nolan North has called for Uncharted 5 multiple times on Twitter. Now after The Last of Us Part 2 and Uncharted Movie an Uncharted 5 becomes a lot more relevant. The Uncharted film features Nathan Drake played by Tom Holland with other casts including Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle, and Sophia Ali. The film is set to be released in 2020. In a video with Nolan North and Troy Baker, Neil Druckmann, the Vice President of Naughty Dog said:

We made Uncharted 4 and we haven't made another Uncharted since. Maybe one day we will.

Unchartered and 'The Last of Us' both Playstation games are developed by Naughty Dog, which finishes the development of the two games turn by turn. In 2015 Neil Druckmann told official PlayStation magazine that they were working on "The Last of Us 2" but had to defer it for the 'Unchartered 4' release in 2016. Now with 'The Last of Us Part-II' release on June 19, 2020, it is Unchartered 5 development turn. However, if this is correct, Naughty Dog has not enough time to finish Unchartered 5 for November 2020 release, which means Unchartered 5 will come out on PS5 in June 2021.

Uncharted 5 rumors on Reddit reveals that Uncharted 5 for PlayStation 5 is already under development. But instead of being developed by Naughty Dog, the 5th game is being developed by a new, unnamed Sony-owned studio. According to these leaks, the new Uncharted 5 is coming out in 2021 titled Uncharted 5: The Last Crusade with Indiana Jones Last Crusade vibe.

Gizmoblaze claims that Naughty Dog is currently working on Uncharted 5 and The Last of Us 3 both game titles to be released in 2022. However, this report does not sound logical by looking at the historical data and from the development house workload management point of view.

For Uncharted series gamers looking to play Uncharted 5 on Windows PC, the rumors are still doubting whether the Uncharted series is going to PC or not. But Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Windows are two-way the different platforms. Uncharted 5 will continue the story of Nathan Drake as prequel like the Unchartered movie, or focus on Cassie the daughter of Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher introduced at the end of Uncharted 4. It is more probable that the story will revolve around the coupling of Victor Sullivan and Sam Drake or Nathan’s daughter Cassie Drake. From the previous launch of the Uncharted series, it's quite obvious that Nathan and Elena were getting to be retired from treasure hunting, while Sullivan and Sam appeared to be fascinated by continuing their daring lifestyle.
