Still, after the announcement of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL; the new Nokia Android smartphones, the company has reportedly received 1 million pre-orders for these smartphone, running Android under Windows Phone 8 like home launcher.
Could this mean that the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia is coming to an end? Or maybe the bond between Microsoft and Google is becoming weaker? Or does it mean that Microsoft is slowing giving up on its Windows OS for smartphones?
Previously, in a user opinion poll, conducted by Nokia to to find out what is one of the favorite functions of Nokia X potential users. The 20.1% users voted for Android Apps while 15.6% voted for Nokia Apps.
On MWC 2014 in Barcelona, first row of Nokia Android Mobile Phones was announced along with some other affordable mobiles with prices starting from 29 euros.

The apps can be downloaded from Nokia App store and users can also side-load Android apps. At the same time users will also be getting free Microsoft OneDrive storage, free music streaming in Nokia MixRadio, Skype minutes and more. These models will also support Russian service Yandex, but you will need to allow it to install Android apps to your phone.
Are all Android Apps compatible with Nokia X Android Phones?
Many fears that existing Android apps would not be incompatible with Nokia Android phones. But Nokia guarantees that around 75% of all current Android apps are compatible with its new Nokia X Android smartphones.
You can easily check whether an Android App is compatible with the Nokia X phone or not. In case it is not and App modification is required. The tools for porting and modifying incompatible Android apps are also available on Nokia app store.
