There was a strong user demand for the Nokia phones running Android platform, since many believe Nokia preferring Windows Phone over Android as operating system software, after Microsoft Nokia partnership, was a wrong turn.

As it is said, never say never, it seems that Finish company has finally heard its fan cries, though after losing most of its glory, fan-base and market share.

Still, after the announcement of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL; the new Nokia Android smartphones, the company has reportedly received 1 million pre-orders for these smartphone, running Android under Windows Phone 8 like home launcher.

Could this mean that the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia is coming to an end? Or maybe the bond between Microsoft and Google is becoming weaker? Or does it mean that Microsoft is slowing giving up on its Windows OS for smartphones?

Previously, in a user opinion poll, conducted by Nokia to to find out what is one of the favorite functions of Nokia X potential users. The 20.1% users voted for Android Apps while 15.6% voted for Nokia Apps.

On MWC 2014 in Barcelona, first row of Nokia Android Mobile Phones was announced along with some other affordable mobiles with prices starting from 29 euros.

From GUI and design perspective, Android Phones feature a look an feel of a crossover between Android and Windows Phone with design cues both from Lumia and Asha series.

The OS for these three phones is a modified version of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) equivalent to Google Android 4.1.2 Jelly Beans.

Instead of Google Play apps store, Nokia is using its own branded new Nokia Apps Store on these models. Which also essentially means instead of Google cloud services, Nokia Android Phones are using the default services from Microsoft.

The apps can be downloaded from Nokia App store and users can also side-load Android apps. At the same time users will also be getting free Microsoft OneDrive storage, free music streaming in Nokia MixRadio, Skype minutes and more. These models will also support Russian service Yandex, but you will need to allow it to install Android apps to your phone.

Many fears that existing Android apps would not be incompatible with Nokia Android phones. But Nokia guarantees that around 75% of all current Android apps are compatible with its new Nokia X Android smartphones.

Nokia phone pricing has always been an issue. But Nokia is addressing the cost issue too now. While the entry-level is covered by its feature phones and Asha devices, the Nokia X range is targeted at affordable segment, costing less than Nokia Lumia Windows Phones.

The Nokia X+ android phone price is €89 Euros. Though it still far better than devices like Samsung Galaxy Y Duos; looking at RAM, camera and battery we do not see much juice in this device.

Nokia XL Android Phone Price
The Nokia XL android phone price is €109 Euros, which becomes $150 USD. The Nokia XL price in India at Rs.9000 and respectively in other Asian dual-SIM budget Android phone market can make it selling phone like hot cake.
