Google Nexus 8 Rumors and leaked images
As iTechWhiz has previously reported a late 2014 Nexus 8 Release Date, the rumors of Google Nexus 8, the new 8 inches tablet under development, are getting momentum.
@evleaks tweets enjoy the reputation for being extremely accurate in their predictions about a device before they actually come out officially. It has mentioned about LG being the maker of a new Google Nexus 8 tablet codenamed V510. But since LG-V510 had received its Bluetooth Certification and consensus has reached that this device was the Nexus 10 2.
LG also offers the G Pad which comes with a 8.3 inch display besides manufacturing the Nexus 5 smartphone for Google. This 8 inch tablet appears to be launched for giving competition to the iPad mini 2014 from Apple which is also an 8 inch device.
Mashable has also reported that Google updated its promotional Android site, and there's a tablet hiding on one of the pages that might actually be the unreleased Google Nexus 8.
Nexus 8 rumors were given their greatest credence when Google "accidentally" updated the Android site with an ad render that revealed a device that was clearly not the Nexus 7 (2013). It had much reduced bezels and a larger screen. Speculation was that Google had done the same thing it had for the Nexus 5 and "accidentally" leaked the device in a picture, well in advance of the actual release date to build up some rumors and speculations.
Nexus 8 leaked images are heavily being discussed that had been accidentally placed by LG on their website but has been removed immediately thereafter.
It had then been noticed that the device was smaller than the Nexus 10 and had bezel that was different from the Nexus 7, which had given rise to the talk about the 8 inch tablet speculation.
Weibo, a Chinese blog site has also posted some leaked pictures of the service manual of the Nexus 8 tablet. The information that is derived from this leaked photo is that the device would be 8.3 inch by display size and have a TFT screen.
The screen display resolution is estimated to be 1920 x 1020p. Over all dimension of the device would be 8.3 mm by thickness and 349.38 by weight.
The potential Google Nexus 8 battery pack would be of 4,600 mAh rating. So far as connectivity features are concerned, the LG Google Nexus 8 would have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ability to connect via other cellular service provider’s network.
It would have micro USB too for connecting other external devices. The tablet would sport two camera, one at the back of 5 MP and the front facing one 1.3 MP. RAM of 1 GB and storage space of 16 GB sums up the hardware specification of the tablet.
