Apple has launched two of its latest iPads with better, advanced, faster specs and slimmer looks. These two tablets are the Apple second generation iPad Mini 2013 and fifth generation iPad Air 5.

The new Apple iPad Air was launched at Apple’s San Francisco press event in which Apple’s Global Marketing Chief Phil Schiller gave a brief introduction of the new iPads 2013. The new iPad Air features and specifications expected and confirmed are given below:
Design: Apple iPad Air is carved out of Aluminium. It is much lighter and thinner than its predecessor iPad 4. It weighed about 1.4 pounds whereas iPad Air weighs only 1 pound. It is 7.5 mm which is 20% sleeker than iPad 4 which was 9.4 millimetres thick. Due to such properties, Apple has named it Air. Apple claims that iPad Air is the lightest tablet in the world.
Display: iPad Air boasts a 9.7 inches Retina Display having 1536 x 2048 pixels at 264 ppi pixel density which means it has 3.1 Million pixels on a single screen. The whole front panel is protected by a Scratch-resistant glass along with oleophobic coating.
Camera: Apple iPad Air will inherit the same 5-megapixel iSight camera from iPad 4. But now it is capable of recording videos at 1080p and performs much better in low-light. The secondary FaceTime camera has been upgraded and as the pixel and sensor size has been increased along with a backside-illuminated sensor which results in better image quality.
Apple iOS 7: As we all knew that now all the iDevices will be iOS 7 powered, so is the iPad Air. iOS 7 has brought life in the Apple products which started to look all the same. iOS 7 looks amazing on the iPad Air with all its beautiful features and integrated functions. iPad air will get the latest version of iOS 7 whereas all the other Apple devices have to download it from iTunes.
A7 64-bit Processor: Apple iPad Air will have the latest 64-bit A7 Chipset. It will boast a Dual-core 1.3 GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based) processor and an M7 motion co-processor which will process all the information given by sensors. Apple claims that this iPad will have 8x faster performance and 72x higher graphics performance due to PowerVR G6430 (quad-core graphics).
