New Nexus 7 2013 Specs, Price, Release Date and Rumors
The new Nexus 7 2nd generation specs and new Google Nexus 7 2013 release date has been leaked by an Asus support executive during a video chat on Facebook.
Google Nexus 7 2G tablet continues to be among the most talked about device right now. What is fueling the rumors is the lack of any sort of official dialogue from Google on anything related to the elusive tablet.
The launch of the Nexus 7 2 is expected to come at anytime now as the current model celebrates its first birthday this month. There have long been rumors surrounding the second generation of Nexus 7 tablet PC, developed by Google and manufactured Asus.
Nexus 7 will be running on Android 4.3 followed by Android Key Lime Pie update in November at the time of 2013 Nexus 5 launch.
Google Glass Release Date is also expected sometime later, with search engine giant reported to be working on Nexus SmartWatch too, to compete Galaxy Smartwatch and iWatch in the wearable gadgets segment.
The next Generation Nexus 7 tablet was expected to be launched at the Google I/O 2013 event held a few weeks ago though much to the disappointment of many, the next gen tablet was not announced at the event. Needless to say this is only adding to the craze for the device which it seems is shooting through the roof.
Meanwhile, it’s a steady stream of rumors and leaks that we are forced to satiate our longing for the device with. What is surprising though is that there has been no image of the next gen Nexus tablet that has come our way so far given the amount of spec leaks that we have come across. But then, that has failed to dampen the spirits and every bit of leaks or rumors that emerge online get lapped up in seconds.
New Nexus 7 2013 specs includes a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor chip powering the device, replacing the Nvidia Tegra 3 chip of the original Nexus 7.
Supported by a 2GB RAM, the 2nd generation Nexus 7 internal storage will amount to 32 GB and will include other features such as support for LTE, WCDMA, and GSM along with connectivity options of Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.
New Nexus 7 2013 features a Full HD 7 inches touchscreen display with 1980x1200 pixel resolution making up the front, packed with a 5MP camera at the rear and a 1.2MP camera unit at the front for video chats. tThe device will be powered by stronger 4,000 mAh battery and will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
However, it is not possible to verify this latest report through official channel from Google or ASUS. Thought it seems odd that a customer service representative would leak such details ahead of official confirmation. But the leak appears to be inline with the previous reports in April that said the new version of Nexus 7 could launch as early in July 2013.
