Nokia N9 vs iPhone 4S vs Galaxy S2: Specs and Features Comparison
Comparing the Specs and Features of Nokia N9 vs iPhone 4 vs Galaxy S2 smartphones, is the comparison of the three best phones of the world by major players of the mobile industry Nokia, Apple and Samsung.
We had to look at all the three sets together to be able to make a valid comparison. Out of these three, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a little older, being released in April, 2011 and the others in October and September respectively. However, we sure know that Samsung is a powerhouse and Nokia and Apple are both in for a tough match. Let’s dig in deep with Nokia N9 vs iPhone 4S vs Galaxy S2: Specs and Features Comparison.
Nokia N9 vs iPhone 4S vs Galaxy S2 Design Specs and Features
The Nokia N9 comes up with a 3.9” AMOLED capacitive touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass. On the other hand, the iPhone has a 3.5” capacitive touchscreen with the state of the art Retina Display and Galaxy S2 has a mammoth 4.3” Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen. We loved the display of Galaxy S2, which was clearly more vibrant the other two. However, the side edges of the iPhone were supreme and whichever angle you look from, the imaging was spotless. As far as design is concerned, the iPhone 4S had nothing new from its predecessor, which was a big disappointment. The Galaxy S2 is quite boring in looks and looks bulky as well as a copy of the iPhone series. We loved the shape, innovation and colors of Nokia N9, which were beautiful and fresh. Good job Nokia!
Nokia N9 vs iPhone 4S vs Galaxy S2 Processor, Memory and OS Comparison
All three of these handsets have different operating systems. The Nokia N9 comes with the rather new MeeGo OS, v1.2 Harmattan, which is pretty elementary to say the least. There needs to be bug fixes and with the supreme iOS 5 of iPhone 4S and the progressive Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) in the Galaxy S2, it sure looks like a losing battle for N9. All three come with amazing chipsets, N9 with TI OMAP 3630, iPhone 4S with Apple A5 and Galaxy with Exynos. The 1GHz Cortex A8CPU of N9 is no match for the super loaded Dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9, while the Galaxy S2 beats them both with the Dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex A9 CPU.In terms of memory, the N9 has no external memory option, and so does iPhone 4S. On the other hand, the Galaxy S2 comes with an 8GB memory card and supports up to 32GB microSD card. N9 and the iPhone 4S offer up to 64GB internal storage while the Galaxy S2 has only 32GB, which can be covered by the external capacity.
On the other hand, N9 and Galaxy S2 has 1GB RAM while iPhone 4S had 512MB RAM. In terms of fluency of the software, we found the iPhone 4S to be the most supreme, which must be due to its PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU.
