HTC Inspire 4G Review: Specs, Design, Camera and Android Gingerbread
iTechWhiz brought you the HTC Desire S vs HTC Sensation Specification, Comparison and Review. This time we take this phone for a spin and bring to you the HTC Inspire 4G Review here under.
HTC Inspire 4G Design
The design of HTC Inspire 4G is nothing new. But it seems to fit in perfectly with the signature shape of the phones this brand manufactures. It is a perfect shape, which feels great in hands and has immense comfort to offer. If you love the HTC look of purpose over innovation, then Inspire 4G does exactly that for you. However, if you were expecting a twist in the looks, you will suffer sheer disappointment. We liked the overall feel and durability of the design.HTC Inspire 4G Android Gingerbread Interface
Interface of the HTC Inspire 4G is pretty much what you expect from a high end HTC phone. The software and user interface is delicious! There are some added personalization options and messaging is spotless. Even though Inspire 4G comes with Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo); it can be easily upgraded to Gingerbread. Previously HTC also have provided similar HTC Evo 4G and HTC Thunderbolt Android 2.3 Gingerbread Updates. Kudos to HTC for such a vibrant interface for Inspire 4G!HTC Inspire 4G Specs and Features
Just like any of the recent HTC phones, this one is packed with a monster of specifications, tailored to perfection. You can also checkout our HTC Inspire 4G vs iPhone 4S Comparison of Specs and Features. In this HTC Inspire 4G Review, we believe the high point is the specs. Starting off from the satisfying 4.3 inches capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and Corning Gorilla Glass, it is a pure pleasure to look at and feel!
This phone supports up to 32GB memory SD card and comes with a huge 8GB card. Internal storage is 4GB and a whopping 768 MB RAM. The CPU used in HTC Inspire 4G is 1 GHz Scorpion and the chipset is Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon. Accelerometer, compass and proximity are all packed in this handset. Other amazing highlights include GPS, FM with RDS, 3.5mm audio jack, Adobe Flash support, divX/Xvid playability and dedicated Twitter and Facebook applications.
The battery is also much better in comparison to earlier phones by HTC. In the HTC Inspire 4G Review we found out that the standby time was around an impressive 372 hours and talk time was up to 6 hours.
HTC Inspire 4G Camera
HTC Inspire 4G Review is thrilled to tell you that there is a top of the line 8 MP camera attached to this gadget. It records video at 720p HD and also comes with autofocus and LED flash. The camera interface is brilliant; however, we were expecting better image results. Nevertheless, it is a giant leap from the distasteful quality of Desire.HTC Inspire 4G Connectivity
Connectivity is also top notch with the latest standard Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps, GPRS and EDGE. We give it a 5 out of 5 stars as far as connectivity, web browsing experience and speed is concerned. Here under you can checkout a comprehensive list of HTC Inspire 4G Specs:
