Finally the waiting days are over. The new Apple Mac OS X Lion has been just released today and alongside Mac OS X Lion, the new Apple MacBook Air 2011 has also been released. Apple launched the new Apple MacBook Air 2011 in two models covering both the 11.6 inch and 13.3 inch sizes.
As it was already being anticipated, the new models are based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform, sport Thunderbolt connectivity for peripherals and witness the come back of backlit keyboards. The new Apple MacBook Air 2011 are currently being offered in the following configurations:

- 1.6GHz with 128GB SSD and 4GB RAM for $1199
Build to order customers can also choose to upgrade to a 1.8 GHz processor and additional solid-state storage.
