Call of Duty Black Ops Escalation DLC New Map Pack by Activism

iTechWhiz (April 16, 2011)- GAME Australia has leaked the first looks of Black Ops ‘Escalation’ map pack. Which is the second episode of the of Black Ops Downloadable Content Pack(DLC). The leak has now been confirmed by the developer companies Activism and Treyarch.

There are four multiplayer maps in the $15 DLC with one zombie map titled as 'Call of The Dead'. Zoo, Hotel, Convoy and Stockpile are the names of Escalation multiplayer maps.

• Hotel – set on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana.
• Convoy – delivers intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed US military convoy.
• Zoo – takes you on a wild ride in an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo, with danger at every turn.
• Stockpile – pits players in a remote Russian farm town housing secret WMD facilities.
• Call of the Dead – features a unique Zombies experience with all-new playable characters.

Game development company, Treyarch Activism has officially announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation Downloadable Content Pack(DLC) will be launched worldwide on May 3, 2011. The new map pack will be available on xbox Live, followed by PlayStation and PC releases.

Previously, the first map pack of the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike, had broken records on xBox Live with 1.4 million downloads within first 24 hours of its release. Here under is a promo for the feast of your eyes, speaking for itself.

Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia, while talking about Escalation, said:

In crafting The Escalation multiplayer maps: Zoo, Convoy, Hotel and Stockpile - the team developed them to be distinct experiences in their own right, giving players the variety they crave in both setting and game play. I don’t want to spoil any surprises for Zombies fans, but 'Call of the Dead' takes it to a whole new level.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is a very popular first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activism, released in the United States and Europe November 9, 2010. The game is the 17th chapter of Call of Duty series and the 4th game of the series to be developed by Treyarch after Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War. It is the sequel to Call of Duty: World at War.

Recent Call of Duty Black Ops demo has been released last month. The long awaited demo has been made available to xBox and PS3 fans for download. This pretty popular demo is an actual game play for Call of Duty: Black Ops, released by Treyarch during the 2010 E3 show.
